Zvezda is a collective inflatable life-saving appliance that is automatically inflated upon contact with water. Due to its geometry and design Zvezda dramatically improves the likelihood of a drowning person successfully getting on board and increases chances of the passengers’ and crew’s survival in the event of a shipwreck.
The goal of this research was to find a way to change the physical model of the modern automobile by enhancing the existing, fully functional kinematic scheme and thus to obtain new properties and discover new paths of constructive enhancement.

Docking of space objects is a key stage in construction of various types of structures in outer space. The ever-increasing number and mass of elements of space structures put forward new requirements for docking systems.
Docking spacecraft with ever-increasing masses and combining them into complex and cumbersome structures is an extremely complex and dangerous process performed in conditions where every movement is difficult. The purpose and objectives of the invention of the docking and mounting module was to create the principles of a device that performs the docking and mounting of space modules with a single capture cycle, and mechanisms that each perform one simple function.
